At our drug rehab in Palm Beach, we offer various addiction treatment services, allowing us to treat as many patients as possible regardless of their substance use disorder. We understand that everyone is different, and when it comes to treating addiction, patients should receive care that’s individualized to suit their needs. Our experience in the substance abuse treatment field has led us to create a platform of addiction recovery treatment services that include everything from detox to inpatient and outpatient treatment to aftercare services. We even incorporate drug therapy and counseling in patients’ rehab programs to ensure that they heal emotionally and mentally, as well.
Comprehensive Addiction Treatment Services at BHOPB
Below is a list of the addiction recovery and treatment services we offer at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches. The program in which patients are placed depends on the results of their clinical assessment. These assessments are held upon admission to our facility to determine the severity of the individual’s condition and to create an addiction treatment plan that’s best for them.
Medically Monitored Detox
Our treatment center in Lake Worth focuses on providing efficient and comprehensive substance abuse treatment to increase our patients’ chances of achieving long-term sobriety. Usually, most patients who come to our facility for treatment begin their recovery with medical detox. Medical detox is a form of treatment in which patients are slowly tapered or weaned off drugs and alcohol. These substances can be dangerous to detox from without medical assistance, so we usually place our patients in this program before beginning any other form of treatment to make sure they’re safe and healthy when moving forward.
Medical detox treatment is held at our facility under the care and 24-hour supervision of our medical staff. Also, in addition to around-the-clock care, the medical team may also administer medication to patients as needed to alleviate any discomfort caused by withdrawals.
Furthermore, our detox programs are individualized to help patients’ withdraw from substances like:
- Prescription Drugs
Residential Treatment Program
Our residential treatment program is the highest level of substance abuse treatment that we offer at our facility. This is a form of inpatient treatment that requires patients to live onsite until the end of the program. As part of our drug and alcohol addiction services, our residential treatment programs are held in a safe and peaceful environment where patients are separated from outside distractions and temptations. This program is best suited for individuals with severe or long-term substance use disorders. Additionally, we also offer long-term drug treatment for patients who we feel would benefit from staying at our facility during their recovery.
Partial Hospitalization Program
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is one step down from residential treatment. PHP addiction treatment requires patients to attend therapy sessions during the day, three to five days a week, and return home for the night. Many of our patients transition to PHP following inpatient treatment or detox, depending on what stage of recovery they’re in. PHP programs are excellent for patients who are looking to transition back to their everyday routines slowly.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Our last level of addiction treatment is our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Despite the name, this program is very flexible and only requires patients to participate in therapy for a minimum of 9 hours a week with our licensed therapists to help them stay on track. During IOP, patients will learn how to incorporate the relapse prevention strategies they’ve acquired from our staff into their daily lives. In recovery, they’ll also learn how to change their lifestyle to accommodate their sobriety and juggle responsibilities like work, school, and family.
Mental Health Treatment
Our addiction treatment services also include mental health treatment. One form of treatment we offer for mental illness is our residential mental health program, which follows a similar format as our residential program for addiction. Patients receiving mental health treatment on a residential level will work with our trained and licensed therapists and psychiatrists to learn more about their conditions and develop recovery tactics they can use in their day-to-day lives. We utilize a variety of other therapy techniques, including EMDR, CBT, and DBT, to help patients understand the thoughts and behaviors that contribute to their disorders.
Specifically, we offer mental health programs like:
- Alcohol and Depression Treatment
- Anger Management Treatment
- Anxiety Management Treatment
- Binge Eating Disorder (BED) Treatment
- Bipolar Disorder Treatment
- Codependency Treatment
- Depression Recovery Treatment
- Domestic Violence and Addiction Treatment
- Dual Diagnosis Treatment
- Gambling Addiction Treatment
- Internet Addiction Treatment
- Sex Addiction Treatment
- Social Skills Development
- Trauma Recovery Treatment
Because every addiction is different, we also provide drug rehab programs that are individualized to treat the impact of specific drugs. Our drug treatment programs include:
- Prescription Drug
Dividing programs by type of substance use disorder allows us to treat the underlying conditions and contributing factors to specific forms of addiction. These programs, combined with our medical detox, can help patients recover both mentally and physically from the impact of drugs or alcohol.
