Our History
Since its establishment in January 1997, Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, Inc. (BHOPB) has emerged as a premier behavioral health care organization. From its humble beginnings with a 12-bed program, BHOPB has expanded significantly, now boasting over 200 beds across multiple facilities. This growth has allowed us to provide a comprehensive range of care options, integrating innovative approaches while remaining steadfast in our commitment to holistic treatment, addressing both substance abuse and mental health disorders.
In June 2018, Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches became part of the Banyan Treatment Center family. Banyan Treatment Center, recognized as an industry leader in individualized drug and alcohol addiction and mental health treatment services, welcomed BHOPB as its 8th and 9th locations nationwide. This partnership underscores our shared commitment to providing the highest standard of care to those we serve.
