Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches (BHOPB) Pro Recovery Team continues its whirlwind speaking engagement tour on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Monroe County Family Wellness Center in Tompkinsville, Kentucky. The Pro Recovery Team is comprised of former NFL Player, Recovery Coach and Interventionist Randy Grimes, former NFL Player Vance Johnson and former MLB Player Paul Fletcher.

Coordinated by the Monroe Country CARES and Project 12 Journey of Hope, Inc. the pro-athlete panel will discuss the drug epidemic, the dangers of addiction and its severe impact on a family unit. This message is particularly poignant for Kentuckians, due to the fact that in 2013, Kentucky had the third highest drug overdose mortality rate in the United States. The event will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm with attendees receiving a free catered meal, door prizes and the option of childcare throughout.

Attendees of the speaking tour will gain an insight on the disease of addiction, along with how family strength can be one of the key components when defeating addiction.
