Randy started taking prescription painkillers during his professional football career to prolong his playing time, maintain his athletic performance and provide for his family. After his retirement he entered a critical and desperate phase of prescription dependency that had him taking up to six hundred pills per month. Randy’s pride and inability to quit cost him his savings and his family. He couldn’t imagine a life without prescriptions, but was hanging by a thread looking for help. When Randy began his drug detox for his painkiller addiction he literally had to crawl into treatment at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches. After Randy successfully completed his rehab treatment he wanted to give back, so he worked hard to become a sought after Professional Interventionist traveling all around the country.
