Infographic: Drunk-driving in the US

Using data from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration and Mothers Against Drunk Driving, this infographic illustrates the tremendously negative impact of drunk driving on American society. The first statistic it relates is that there were over 10,00 drunk-driving deaths in the US in 2013. This works out to more than one drunk-driving death per hour. This infographic concludes with a statistic that points to the limited effect that law enforcement has had on this issue; although there are more than 300,000 drunk-driving incidents each day, there are fewer than 4,000 DUI arrests.
