This infographic highlights both the need for and the availability of alcohol treatment facilities in the state of Florida. Using data collected and analyzed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, it illustrates that Florida has the fourth most addiction treatment centers in the US, behind only California, Illinois, and New York. This infographic also contains a map showing where these facilities are located in Florida. It concludes with a fact that underscores the continued need for treatment in Florida even with such an abundance of facilities: approximately 2 million Florida residents needed but didn’t receive alcohol abuse treatment in 2013.
