It uses data from the Palm Beach County Substance Awareness Coalition, the Palm Beach County chapter of Mothers against Drunk Driving, and the Palm Beach County Sun Sentinel newspaper to highlight the negative impact of drinking on Palm Beach County life. Some statistics used include the fact that underage drinking in Palm Beach County is 4% higher than the national average. This infographic also points out that Palm Beach County arrests an average of 4,000 DUI offenders each year and lost 51 people to alcohol-related crashes in 2013. Clearly, more treatment of alcohol abusers would improve the quality of life for all of the County’s residents.
