This infographic details the prevalence of anxiety disorders in the US and the unfortunate consequence of abuse of anti-anxiety medications such as benzodiazepines, commonly referred to as “benzos.” This phenomenon is well researched, as attested to by the multiple sources referred to in this infographic, including: the CDC, the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, and the DAWN report.
