BHOPB’s Tammy Malloy Interviewed About Her Groundbreaking Study on Addiction

Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches Chief Clinical Officer Tammy Malloy, LCSW, was recently interviewed about her research examining the widely used 12-step treatment model and how adult attachment styles and spirituality dimensions are associated with depressive symptoms.

The interview, conducted by Florida Atlantic University, delved into Malloy’s groundbreaking collaborative study with Gail Horton, Ph.D., associate professor; Naelys Luna, Ph.D. Tammy works closely with Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches staff on a supervisory level, and directly with patients who suffer from substance dependence, process addictions and mental health issues. Tammy Malloy is also Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches executive director of research. In this position Tammy leads BHOPB’s efforts to conduct external studies within the industry and regularly travels around the country to present her research and findings. Tammy Malloy is considered to be one of the upcoming authorities on addiction and treatment in the US today. She has appeared on a wide variety of TV news programs, talk shows, and radio shows as an addiction expert.
