BHOPB Florida Drug Rehab Physical Fitness Program
Physical fitness is a very important part of a healthy lifestyle. Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches puts a large degree of focus on physical fitness. Each client receives a medical examination upon being admitted to BHOPB.
Personal Trainer
Once completed, the client can meet one on one with a personal trainer to determine what level of exercise program is right for them. As a part of this process, a person’s weight, age, BFI, condition is used to determine the type of exercise program is best suited to them.
Each of these individual factors is then carefully analyzed.
- types of exercise
- interval of exercise sessions
- Workout schedule

Goal Setting
Together with their personal trainer, each client has the opportunity to determine what levels of physical fitness they would like to achieve. The client set their own fitness level goals. The goals would be reviewed periodically and, if necessary, adjusted accordingly.
Here at Behavioral Health of the Pam Beaches, we feel physical fitness is an integral part of our holistic approach to recovery from alcohol and drug abuse. Physical well-being goes hand in hand with raising self-esteem. Also, healthy activities, such as exercise, are a great way to build an overall healthy lifestyle and image.
Nutrition
We believe good nutrition is essential to successful recovery. Eating a balanced food plan is essential to good health. It is also an important part of recovering from drugs and alcohol abuse. Often time’s people use drugs or alcohol because their bodies are not getting the proper nutrition. Their lifestyle’s are usually so out of balance it makes them sick.
Here at Behavioral Health we take good nutrition seriously. Our staff nutritionist meets with each client to discuss the principles of eating right and review their case histories.
