Christ Centered Recovery

Our Christian Addiction program focuses on spiritual power as it relates to the recovery process. The group explores the different aspects of God’s grace which is available through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Group discussions focus on real spiritual power as it is revealed in God’s word. This is a highly interactive group process where each individual is given the opportunity to experience God’s grace applied to their own personal stage of recovery.

Overcomers

- A Christian 12-Step Program for Christian Recovery from addiction

The primary goal of Overcomers is to build relationships with God, self, and others. In small groups of five to ten people, a safe, loving environment is offered. Within this confidential setting, members work through life controlling problems. Overcomers is open to all who sincerely want help in dealing with specific issues that seem to be hindering them from living a healthy and functional life - personally, emotionally and spiritually.

Christian Recovery Residences

Clients reside in an apartment-style residence within the Behavioral Health complex.

The facility is supervised 24 hours a day by a full-time staff. Clients’ activities include wake-up, meals, attendance at groups, lectures and meetings. Completion of chores, curfew hours and return from off-site trips are monitored on a 24-hour basis.

The shared community experience is an important part of treatment and is how patients learn the basics of living a responsible lifestyle. Residents receive a food allowance, and under supervision, select and prepare their own meals. They are also involved with planning some of their recreational activities as a group.

The Christian Alcohol & Drug Rehab Program

Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches' specialized long-term program for Christian alcohol & drug addiction provides individualized treatment in a time frame that will be customized around you.

Licensed professionals in psychiatry, social work, nursing and addictions counseling staff the Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches facility. Medical supervision is provided only by board certified physicians and registered nurses.

The staff can also assist those individuals of Christian faith who may not require extended care treatment, but do require a structured Christian halfway house living environment when a toxic living situation exists at home.

Christian Aftercare

We continue to care about our patients after they leave treatment by providing follow-up services. Minimally, patients are contacted by us quarterly after they complete treatment.

More intensive follow-up services are available. Local or relocating patients are encouraged to attend aftercare groups at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches. Out-of-town patients are referred back to the referring agency, EAP or other professional resource. Behavioral Health provides extended therapeutic living in South Florida for patients who are vulnerable to relapse due to toxic living and social environments.
